Satire

Satire is a literary form that is used in a humorous manner in order to point out human error or mistake. The main purpose of using satire is to help an individual identify his or her mistakes in hope of correction. Although satire is intended to point out miscues by the individual, it is not presented in a obvious form. Example: If someone was to fall and you we to say "have a nice trip" that would be satire.

In the Impotence Of Proof Reading, proof reading is being satirized. The writer is purposely misspelling words to show why I should proof read. For an example:"Proofreading your peppers is a matter of the the utmost impotence" is written incorrect.
